UPDATE Goldendale man dies in Bickleton Highway crash



 

GOLDENDALE, Wash. — Two people died Tuesday night in a two-vehicle collision on Bickleton Highway, authorities said.

The accident occurred at 9:19 p.m. Tuesday when a Ford Escort and Nissan Altima collided, according to a news release from the Klickitat County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver of the Escort, 26-year-old Charles Browning of Goldendale, and a passenger in the Escort, 26-year-old Scott Holcomb of Goldendale were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Altima, 67 year old Terrie Hardie of Goldendale, was transported by Lifeflight with serious injuries.

Twenty-three year old Lynise Browning of Goldendale and two small children were additional passengers in the Escort. They were treated for various types of injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
