SELAH, Wash. -- Before going trick-or-treating this Halloween, go for a trek. Make that a Trek-n-Treat.
The costume fun run for kids 10 and under starts at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
The cost is $10 per child. One adult may run or walk with a child for free. Strollers are welcome.
All proceeds benefit the Yakima/Ellensburg Team In Training chapter, which is raising funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Participants receive a T-shirt and medal. Additional T-shirts cost $8 each.
Participants should meet in the Selah Junior High School parking lot.
Registrations can be dropped off at Selah Fitness Express, at 103 N. First St. Or just show up early on race day to register on site.
Registration forms are available at www.selahfundrun.weebly.com. For more information, e-mail selahFUNDrun@gmail.com.
