A Moxee woman and her two children were injured Friday evening when the car she was driving crashed into a vehicle in front of them that had slowed for traffic congestion on Interstate 90 west of Cle Elum, according to the Washington State Patrol

Jennifer Schlosser, 26, was driving west in a 2006 Ford Focus about 5 p.m. when she ran into a 1995 Toyota pickup driven by Bee Chang, 42, of Snoqualmie, Wash., according to a WSP news release. The collision pushed the pickup into the rear end of a 2001 Audi driven by Jordan Brennan, 20, of Kirkland, Wash.

Schlosser and her children, ages 2 and 6, were transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. although their injuries were not reported to be life-threatening. The 2-year-old was not properly restrained in the car, the State Patrol said.

Chang was not injured. Brennan and two adult passengers in his car were taken to Kittitas Valley Community Hospital in Ellensburg for treatment of lacerations and minor injuries.

The news release said Schlosser may be cited for following too close and improper use of a child restraint.
