The Million Dollar Round Table has extended membership to Bill Hays, an agent for New York Life Insurance Co. in Yakima. Hays, who has been an agent with New York Life since 2007, earned membership for superior professional knowledge, experience and client service.

 

Nonprofit

The Yakima Schools Foundation has selected officers and board members for 2009-2010.

Officers are Joe Ketterer, community volunteer, president; Robert Aycock, Banner Bank, vice president; Dave Murray, Wheatland Bank, treasurer; and Vicki Dwight, Yakima Teachers Association, secretary.

Directors for the board are Aaron Arndt, Yakima Bears; Ryan Beckett, RE/MAX Traditions; Cal Blethen, Yakima Herald-Republic; Monty Mills, Mills Music Stores; Sally Simon, retired teacher; Stefanie Durand, Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences; Kelly Giles-Moore, Abbott Pharmaceuticals; Jean Keeler, retired teacher; Moriet Miketa, Prudential Almon Realty; Heidi Robel, doctor; Kris Vestad, retired teacher; and Angela Wentz, Martin, Holland & Petersen.

 

Real Estate

Pacific Alliance Title has hired Renée Goodman as executive director of marketing and customer relations. Goodman comes from the Wapato School District, where she was executive director of curriculum and professional development for the district.

Goodman, a Yakima native, has a Masters of Education degree from Heritage University.

 

Retail

Top Food & Drug has given several managers from its 18 stores statewide, including two managers at its Yakima store, manager of the year awards. Winners from Yakima were Ginger James, who was named co-bakery manager of the year, and Juan Farias, who is co-dairy/self-service deli manager of the year.
