SELAH, WASH. -- A four-bay shop was damaged Saturday after heat from a woodstove ignited a nearby wall, firefighters said.

Firefighters responded to the blaze in the 1800 block of Pleasant Hill Road about 4 p.m., and found the wood shop area of a large metal shop on fire, firefighters said.

It took onlyabout 20 minutes to douse the blaze, which caused roughly $20,000 damage to the shop, situated behind its owner's house, firefighters said. There were no injuries.

It was the first time the owner had used the woodstove this year, firefighters said.

Firefighters from Yakima, East Valley, Gleed and the Yakima Training Center responded.
