Elnora H. Templin

Elnora H. Templin, 89, of Yakima died July 7.

Mrs. Templin was born in Montrose, Colo. She worked as a bookkeeper, clerk and teacher's aide.

Survivors include a son, David Templin of Oak Harbor, Wash.; a daughter, Judy Dorsett of Yakima; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. July 24 at Stone Church of Yakima. Arrangements are by Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home.


Sergio E. Cruz

Sergio E. Cruz, 26, of Mabton died Saturday at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. Mr. Cruz was born in Lídice, Mexico. He worked as a supervisor for Columbia River Seed Co.

Survivors include his parents, Agustin and Celia Enriquez; and five siblings, Agustin Enriquez Jr., Debbie Enriquez, Briseida Enriquez, Leticia Enriquez and Adrian Enriquez, all of Mabton.

Viewing will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, with a recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mabton. Burial will follow in the Mabton Cemetery.

 

Maria Robles

Maria Robles, 43, of Yakima died Monday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Robles was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. She worked as a cook at Miner's for six years before retiring in 2005.

Survivors include her husband, Antonio Perez; a daughter, Joanna Robles of Yakima; five sisters, Ana Robles, Martina Robles, Luz Gomez, Imelda Hernandez and Griselda Solorzano, all of Yakima; a brother, Ismael Robles of Yakima; and one granddaughter.

Viewing will be from noon to 7 p.m. today, with a vigil service at 6 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at
2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Cathedral. Private family inurnment
will be at a later date.

 

Harry F. Ruhf

Harry F. Ruhf, 78, of Toppenish died Tuesday at Toppenish Community Hospital. Mr. Ruhf was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and served in the military as a captain in Intelligence and Special Forces. He also worked as a salesman for Shell Oil Co. in Los Angeles.

Survivors include his wife, Ermina of Toppenish; and two daughters, Lucilla Anne Thompson of Seattle and Alexandra "Sandy" Ruhf of Olympia.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in White Swan. Arrangements are by Colonial Funeral Home.

 

J.B. Benge Sr.

J.B. Benge Sr., 76, of Union Gap died Wednesday at home.
Mr. Benge was born in Oklahoma and served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked for Montgomery Irrigation for 30 years.

Survivors include two sons, Oscar Benge and Jay Benge, both of Yakima; a daughter, Tammy Benge of Yakima; three brothers, Jack Benge and Buck Benge, both of Yakima, and Rodney Benge of Oklahoma; a sister, Leta Mae Satterlee of Yakima; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Tahoma Cemetery.


Cora E. Browning

Cora Elizabeth Browning, 89, of Sunnyside died Wednesday. Mrs. Browning was born in Parker.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Leppanen of Sunnyside; three sons, Dennis Browning of Grandview, Bill Browning of Richland and Bruce Browning of Bothell, Wash.; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home of Sunnyside. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, also at Smith Funeral Home.
