SEATTLE -- Alison McWeeny, the 20-year-old Central Washington University student-athlete who lost her lower leg in a boating accident last week, was listed in satisfactory condition Friday at Seattle's Harborview Medical Center.

McWeeny, a thrower on the CWU track and field team, was injured last Sat-urday on the Columbia River near Wanapum State Park.

According to the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office, she and six other occupants of a water-skiing boat were ejected when the boat turned to pick up the skier. McWeeny fell under the boat when it flipped over.

McWeeney had extensive leg trauma. No one else was injured in the accident.

According to the CWU track and field roster, McWeeny is from Auburn, Wash. Her 143-foot,
1-inch hammer throw in 2008 was listed as the fourth-best in CWU history.
