YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity is celebrating 25 years of building homes in the Yakima Valley.
The celebration -- featuring a benefit concert by the contemporary Gospel group Vocal Union -- will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at West Valley Church of the Nazarene.
The Nashville-based Gospel group will perform alongside Yakima's own For Eternity, a trio from the church, located at 7109 W. Nob Hill Blvd.
Tickets cost $15 per person or $40 per family, and will be available at the door.
Since 1986, Habitat for Humanity has built 126 homes for and with low-income families throughout the Yakima Valley. The organization, a nonprofit Christian housing ministry, is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.
