ELLENSBURG, Wash. — A second man is under arrest for an early January attempted robbery of a woman and her son who were lured here by car-sale ad on Craigslist Internet site, police said.
A news release the department issued this morning said Federal Way, Wash. Police arrested the 21-year-old suspect Tuesday.
The man is now jailed in Kittitas County for attempted armed robbery.
Federal Way police arrested the first suspect, age 21, about a month ago.
The incident occurred Jan. 3 in the parking lot of the I-90 Inn when two men tried to rob a mother and son at gunpoint. The pair had been tricked through a Craig's list ad into coming to Ellensburg to purchase a vehicle.
The victims, who were not identified, were able to escape.
