YAKIMA, Wash. -- It will be all hands on deck for the all-school reunion at Perry Technical Institute this month.
Activities planned for the July 17-18 event include a golf tournament, a no-host reception, campus tours, a building dedication, a barbecue lunch and a Yakima Bears game.
The reunion, hosted by the school at 2011 W. Washington Ave., marks Perry’s 70th anniversary year.
“This is the first time in more than 20 years that we have brought all the classes together to relive their experience at Perry, reminisce and reconnect with classmates,” said Erin Fishburn, director of Perry Technical Foundation.
One highlight will be the dedication of the hangar building on the west end of the campus, which will become the Eugene Shields Technical Training Center.
For information or to register for the reunion, call Fishburn at 509-453-0374 or e-mail erinf@perrytech.edu.
