GRANDVIEW -- Police are investigating the circumstances of the death of a 2-year-old Grandview boy who was declared dead after he was taken to Sunnyside Community Hospital on Friday.
According to a Grandview police news release, police and medical crews responded to a home in the 200 block of Pleasant Avenue shortly after 5:30 p.m. The boy was unresponsive, and the officers and medical personnel administered CPR. The boy, whose name was not released, was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
