Dave A. Thisius

Dave A. Thisius II, 45, of Las Vegas died June 22.

Mr. Thisius was born in Yakima and owned his own business, traveling and doing rigger/stage work for singing artists. He
also worked as a rigger/stage manager for the MGM Hotel in
Las Vegas.

Survivors include his father, James Thisius of Yakima; a brother, Lee Rasciner of California; and two sisters, Lori
LeBree of Moxee and Karen Marie McLaughlin of Yakima.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. July 8-9 at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday,
July 10 at Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel, with concluding services at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.


Theodore A. Clemmens

Theodore "Ted" A. Clemmens, 70, of Yakima died Tuesday at home. Mr. Clemmens was born in Yakima and worked for Jaussaud and Seward & Associates as a land surveyor for
43 years.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Jean Clemmens of Yakima; two sons, Sam Clemmens of Federal Way, Wash., and Tim Clemmens of Yakima; a daughter, Pepper Clemmens of Yakima; a brother, Steve Clemmens of Benton City; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. today at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Westside Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Tahoma Cemetery.

 

Violet M. Pidcock Mathers

Violet Marie Pidcock Mathers, 87, of Prosser died Saturday at her home. Ms. Pidcock Mathers was born in Twisp, Wash. She lived in Lake Chelan for many years and moved to Prosser in 1978. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include five daughters, Launa Pettibone and Kay Barnhill, both of Prosser, Arita Heximer and Jacquie Wilde, both of Amarillo, Texas, and Donna Griffiths of Kennewick.

Visitation will be from 2-5 today at Prosser Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Chelan United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in the Fraternal Cemetery in Chelan.

 

Belle Broom

Belle Broom, 86, of Yakima died Monday. Ms. Broom was born in Yakima and worked as an office manager in a doctor's office.

Survivors include a son, Maurice Broom of Olympia; a daughter, Kathy Broom of Yakima; a brother, Phillip Huff of Vancouver, Wash.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory.
