Charles R. Dorich

Charles Russell Dorich, 77, of Selah died Friday at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center. He was born in Seattle and served in the Air Force. He worked for Selah High School for 31 years as a history teacher and coach.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Dorich of Selah; a son, Douglas Michael Dorich of Selah; two daughters, Cheryl Kay Dorich of Selah and Debra Lynn McAllister of Newcastle, Wash.; and four grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. July 15 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Selah. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory.

 

Delores Hinrichsen

Delores "Doris" Hinrichsen, 88, of Grandview died Saturday at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center. She was born in Yakima and worked as a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Hinrichsen of Grandview; a daughter, Ann Harris of Grandview; a son, Bill Hinrichsen of Ceres, Calif.; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

At Mrs. Hinrichsen's request, there will be no funeral services. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory, Sunnyside.

 

Dorian E. Valdovinos

Dorian Eduardo Valdovinos, 8-month-old son of Alejandro Valdovinos and Esenia Arias, died Friday near Toppenish.

In addition to his parents, survivors include a brother, Angel; and a sister, Vanessa, both of Toppenish.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Colonial Funeral Home.

 

Antonio A. Villanueva

Antonio A. Villanueva, 80, of Grandview died Saturday in Yakima. He was born in Hidalgo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He moved to the Yakima Valley in the 1950s and worked for Wycoff Farms until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Dolores Villanueva of Grandview; a son, Hector Villanueva of Mexico; three daughters, Diana DeLeon and Marinela Villanueva, both of Mexico, and Jeanette Villanueva of Grandview; two brothers, Luis Villanueva of Prosser and Rene Villanueva of Mexico; a sister, Eva Rocha of Mexico; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Viewing and visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today, with recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Grandview. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grandview Cemetery.
