Wade L. Brumley
Wade Lee Brumley, 75, of Yakima died Monday at home. Mr. Brumley was born in Falcon, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Norma; six children, Joy Wyatt of Everett, Wash., Neil Brumley, Tina Brumley and Mark Brumley, all of Yakima, Hope Duncan of Lynnwood, Wash., and Michael Brumley of Naches; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in West Hills Memorial Park. A celebration of life with family and friends will follow the service at the Holy Family Church gathering room. Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home.
Vernon Burton
Vernon Burton, 84, of Toppenish died Wednesday in Yakima. Mr. Burton was born in Missouri and lived in Toppenish for many years. He worked in trucking.
Survivors include a son, Daryl Burton of John Day, Ore.; two daughters, Marilyn Menzano of Toppenish and Diane Hayes of Yakima; a stepbrother, Jim Nelson of Alaska; and a sister, Helen Stufflebean of Missouri.
Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, also at Valley Hills Funeral Home.
Sheila Nash
Sheila "Jo" Nash, 66, of Yakima died Monday at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center. Ms. Nash was born in Phoenix.
Survivors include her mother, Sibyl Esget of Yakima; a brother, Tim Rust of Naches; and two sisters, Vicki Morse of California and Jerrian Snow of Arkansas.
At her request, no service is planned. Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home.
Joan A. Whitehead
Joan A. Whitehead, 89, of Selah died Monday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Whitehead was born in Aldermastion, Berkshire, England. She taught in England, Trinidad and at Cascade Kindergarten.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen Teske and Stella Whitehead of Selah; a sister, Barbara Hopper of Folkestone, England; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. A celebration of life will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Yakima.
Claude D. Ludwig
Claude David Ludwig, 83, of Yakima died Wednesday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ludwig was born in Kelso, Mo., and served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was self-employed at Day, Ludwig and Criddle accounting firm.
Survivors include his wife, Dorene Ludwig of Yakima; a son, Doug Ludwig of Yakima; four stepsons, David Wilton of Anacortes, Wash., Dan Wilton of Maple Valley, Wash., Dale Wilton of Yakima and Duane Wilton of Walla Walla; a daughter, Pamela Egan of Yakima; a sister, Marjorie Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and numerous grandchildren.
At his request, there will be no services. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.
Aaron Pryor
Aaron Pryor, 64, of Yakima died Wednesday at home. Mr. Pryor worked for years as a manager at Lenscrafters.
Information about survivors was not available.
At his request, no services will be held. Arrangements are by Colonial Funeral Home.
