Wildfire risk grows in Eastern Washington

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- The state fire marshal’s office says projected dry conditions will lead to above-normal wildfire danger this summer in parts of Eastern Washington.

The office advises owners of exposed homes to start taking precautions. They include clearing brush and trimming trees around houses and removing flammable materials.
