Conklin-Weeks
Angela (Mears) Weeks and Thomas Dean Conklin were married Feb. 14 at Yakima Foursquare Church. A reception followed at Cascade Garden.
The bride is the daughter of Velma Dodson of Chiloquin, Ore., and Carl Mears of Yakima. The bridegroom is the son of Lorraine Conklin of Yakima and the late Darrow Conklin.
Members of the wedding party included Rian Weeks, Stephen Weeks, Brooke Conklin, Courtney Conklin and Mya Johnson.
The bride is employed at Rasmussen Marketing. The bridegroom is employed at Conklin Chevron.
The couple is at home in Yakima.
Dupuis-Asimakopoulos
Melissa Kay Asimakopoulos and James Robert Dupuis were married April 4 during an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas, Nev. A reception was held at the Woman's Century Club.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Caroline Asimakopoulos of Denver and Johnnie and Patrick Lippert of Phoenix. The bridegroom is the son of James and Linda Dupuis of Selah.
The bride is attending Estrella Mountain Community College. The bridegroom-to-be is pursuing his bachelor's degree in biomechanical engineering from Arizona State University. They are employed with the Department of Homeland Security in Phoenix.
The couple is at home in Goodyear, Ariz.
Edson-Whiteman
Jill Corynne Whiteman and Jeffrey Michael Edson were married April 4 in Maui overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of Brent and Jeanette Whiteman of Ellensburg. The bridegroom is the son of Ron and Kathy (Hammermeister) Mace of Ellensburg and Michael and Gertrude Edson of Selah.
DeAnna Bridenback was maid of honor and Brian Roberts was best man.
The bride graduated from Ellensburg High School, attended Washington State University and earned a business degree from the University of Washington. She owns Shoes 2 Boot in Ellensburg. The bridegroom graduated from Ellensburg High School and Perry Technical Institute. He is a telecommunication technician with Verizon in Ellensburg.
Following a honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii, the couple is at home in Ellensburg.
Garfias-Ramos
Serina Ramos and Noel Garfias were married May 22 at the Bali Hai Resort in Las Vegas. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of John Ramos and Bernice Brock. The bridegroom is the son of Jose Garfias and Judy Garcia.
Cristina Cervantes was maid of honor and Jesse Cervantes was best man.
The bride earned her associate degree in general information technology and medical billing and coding. She is pursuing her bachelor's degree in management information technology from Washington State University. The bridegroom earned his GED and is employed with International Paper of Union Gap.
Following a trip to Las Vegas, the couple is at home in Yakima.
