PROSSER -- Prosser is gearing up for Scottish Fest, the ninth annual festival that celebrates all things Scottish.

Activities include the anvil launch, Celtic music, dance competitions and heavy athletics.
The gates open at 8:30 a.m.
Cost for adults is $8, and $5 for kids ages 5-12 or seniors 65 and older.
For more information, call the Prosser Chamber of Commerce at 509-786-3177 or check www.prosserchamber.org.
Nice to finally see some coverage of the oppressed Scottish people in this valley. Someday, maybe we'll finally have a Scottish person appointed to the Yakima City Council.
