NACHES, Wash. -- A chili cook-off will highlight a day of fun activities Saturday at Summerfest, a benefit for the Nile Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
The event will run from noon to midnight at The Wood Shed, 8590 State Route 410 in Naches.
Activities will include horseshoes, volleyball and live music. Kaia Sorem will play from 3-5 p.m. on the patio, and there will be dancing in the lounge with music from The Sky High Band from 9 p.m. to midnight.
The chili tasting begins at 1:30 p.m., for a $5 tasting fee. There is a $25 registration fee for anyone who wants to enter the cook-off.
