Thorn-Hazel
Heather Lynne Hazel and Christopher Scott Thorn were married Aug. 30 at Holy Family Catholic Church. A reception followed at the Woman's Century Club.
The bride is the daughter of David and Lynne Hazel of Yakima. The bridegroom is the son of Dennis and Carol Thorn of Yakima.
Kate Baer was maid of honor and Chad Thorn was best man. Other members of the wedding party included Derek Wauzynski, Andrew Hyink, Joe Simons, David Meyer, Elizabeth Hazel, Brittany Morford, Connie St. Hilaire and Ann Foreyt.
The bride graduated from La Salle High School and Gonzaga University. She is employed with Yakima County. The bridegroom graduated from Eisenhower High School and Eastern Washington University. He is employed at the Selah Independent newspaper.
Following a cruise to Alaska, the couple is at home in Selah.
