Lakey-Harris
Jody and Jolene Lakey, and Cathy Johnson, all of Selah, and George and Cindy Harris of Kitsap Lake, Wash., announce the engagement of their children, Leah Corinne Lakey and Philip George Harris.
The bride-to-be graduated from Selah High School and Central Washington University. She is a music production assistant. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from Eisenhower High School, Linfield College and Walden University. He is a teacher and men's soccer coach at the University of Puget Sound.
A May wedding is planned at Entiat, Wash.
Haro-Tupy
Crystal Haro and Jared Tupy have announced their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gustavo and Reynalda Haro of Moxee. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Steve and Venita Tupy of Wapato.
The bride-to-be graduated from East Valley High School and attended Yakima Valley Community College. She is employed at Terrace Heights Family Pet Clinic. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from Wapato High School and is employed at Noel Canning and Bottling.
A June 6 wedding is planned at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Weiss-Pease
Scott Weiss and Ruthanne Cortez of Selah announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Anne Weiss, to Matthew Travis Pease.
The bride-to-be graduated from Eisenhower High School and is attending Yakima Valley Community College. She is employed with Horizon Airlines. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from Eisenhower High School. He is an assistant produce manager at Fred Meyer.
A June 20 wedding is planned at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Nott-Ramos
Brian W. and Melissa Nott of Tieton and Ernesto J. and Norma A. Ramos of Toppenish announce the engagement of their children, Amanda Lin Nott and E.J. Ramos II.
The bride-to-be graduated from Eisenhower High School, She is a medical records clerk for Cornerstone Medical Clinic. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from Toppenish High School. He is employed with Cascade Fire and Safety as an Upper Valley service technician.
A June 27 wedding is planned at the bride's grandfather's home in West Valley.
Birdwell-Blizard
Victoria "Tori" Birdwell and Chad Joseph Blizard have announced their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kathleen and Thomas Birdwell of Yakima. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Terry and Suzette Ingle of Tieton, and Jim and Louri Blizard of Yakima.
The bride-to-be graduated from Eisenhower High School and Yakima Valley Community College. She is an advertising assistant for Horizon Distribution. The bridegroom-to-be attended Highland High School and is serving in the Army.

Mai Phuong Hoang and Jerome Christopher Parmentier have announced their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of the Rev. Luc T. and Loan P. Hoang of Louisville, Ky. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Donald and Priscilla A. Parmentier of Yakima.
The bride-to-be earned her bachelor's degree in journalism from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky. She is a reporter for the Yakima Herald-Republic. The bridegroom-to-be earned a degree in business administration and marketing and his master's degree from Washington State University. He is employed with Yakima Federal Savings and Loan Association.
A Sept. 26 wedding is planned at St. Paul Cathedral in Yakima.
Yergen-Kean
Dave and Susan Yergen of West Valley and Jim and Kim Kean of Yakima announce the engagement of their children, Betsy Michelle Yergen and Todd James Kean.
The bride-to-be graduated from West Valley High School and is soon to graduate from Central Washington University with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She plans to attend Idaho State University's physician assistant program this fall. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from West Valley High School and earned his doctorate in pharmacy from Washington State University's College of Pharmacy.
A July wedding is planned in Yakima.

David and Linda Hagen of Selah announce the engagement of their daughter, Valerie Hagen, to Chad McNett. He is the son of Connie McNett of Selah and the late Steve McNett Sr.
The bride-to-be earned her bachelor's degree in computer science from Central Washington University and is a Web developer at Blue Nile. The bridegroom-to-be earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from CWU. He is employed at Macy's.
An Aug. 15 wedding is planned on Orcas Island, Wash.
Campbell-Linfor
Holly Christina Campbell and Timothy Lee Linfor have announced their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of William and Mary Walton of Selah and the late Lloyd Campbell. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Julia Linfor of Selah and the late Larry Linfor.
The bride-to-be graduated from Selah High School and Ecola Bible School in Cannon Beach, Ore. She is a sales clerk at Howard's Drug Store in Selah. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from Selah High School and earned a bachelor's degree in theater from Eastern Washington University. He is a paraprofessional in the Selah School District.
An Oct. 25 wedding is planned at the Lower Naches Grange Hall.
Manz-Thielman-Justo
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Thielman of Selah and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Justo of Yakima announce the engagement of their children, Tabetha Dawn Manz-Thielman and Richard Michael Justo.
The bride-to-be graduated from Selah High School and is employed at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from West Valley High School and is employed at Round Table Pizza.
An Oct. 31 wedding is planned at the Cascade Garden.
