Sisters Izzy, center, and Chloe Hartsfield, both 7, pick out books during the book giveaway at the downtown branch of Yakima Valley Libraries. The library system is celebrating Dia de los Ninos by hosting events that will include stories, games, crafts and book giveaways at branches throughout the system.

The following locations remain on the book giveaway schedule: Summitview, 11 a.m. Tuesday; Sunnyside, 4 p.m. Tuesday; Granger, 6 p.m. Tuesday; Selah, 10 a.m. Thursday; Wapato, 10:30 a.m. April 25; Southeast, 2 p.m. April 25; White Swan, 4 p.m. April 27; Tieton, 3:30 p.m. April 28; Buena, 4 p.m. April 29; and Mabton, 3:30 p.m. April 30.
