SUNNYSIDE, Wash. -- Police arrested a 25-year-old man early this morning for allegedly having two stolen guns found after he was pulled over in a traffic stop.

At 2:30 a.m., a Sunnyside officer pulled over a 1999 Dodge Stratus near the intersection of Sixth Street and Harrison Avenue.

The driver, a 25-year-old Sunnyside man, was arrested for driving with a suspended license. The officer also found a Smith & Wesson revolver and a 9 mm Walthers P99, both stolen, in the car, said Charlotte Hinderlider, a police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to the Sunnyside Jail. Officers will search the car more thoroughly with a search warrant today, Hinderlider said.
