Sharon Estrada spent four decades finding lost siblings, but she suspects there may be more. She wants the public's help finding them.
Her mother was born Dimple Coraline Belcher but during her life used eight other surnames -- Winder, Card, Heath, McMillan, Barnhart, Estrada, Clark and Westabey.
Here are a few clues about possible siblings that Estrada has pieced together in her years of research.
• In 1942, Estrada's mother was married to a Roseburg, Ore., man. His sister told Estrada about getting a birth announcement from her brother about a baby boy with red hair.
• Estrada believes her mother gave birth in 1946 at Seattle's Greenwood Maternity Home, the same place her next known sibling was born.
• Estrada suspects her mother had a baby in 1952 in San Diego. Children born to her around that time had the last name of Barnhart.
• In 1957-1958, Estrada's mother was living in Yuma, Ariz. Estrada, then 13, was sent to live at a Phoenix convent. Estrada believes it waswanted to hide a pregnancy.
• In 1963, Estrada's mother was pregnant and living in Yuma. Estrada says her mother told her a baby had died about that time.
• In 1966, Estrada's mother lived in Ocean City, Calif., where people remember she was pregnant, Estrada said.
• In 1969, one of Estrada's siblings was born in Missoula, Mont., and was adopted by a local family. Estrada said the adopting family got a call two years later from a doctor telling them to consider taking in a baby girl from the same mother.
