YAKIMA -- Summit Crest Construction of Yakima is planning to build a mixed-use office complex at 4600 Summitview Ave.
The project includes 16,500 square feet in two buildings.
The city of Yakima is requiring the company to fulfill standard mitigations to ensure the project has no adverse impact on the environment.
The city's decision, issued Tuesday, triggers an appeal period that ends April 7. Appeals must be submitted to Bill Cook, community and economic development director and the official responsible for environmental reviews and decisions, at 129 N. Second St. in Yakima.
The Summit Crest proposal includes the demolition of a single-family residence on the property.
