YAKIMA -- A 14-year-old boy is in serious condition at a Seattle hospital a day after falling from the hood of a moving car at East Valley High School.
Thomas Suedewolf was transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Saturday morning, a nursing supervisor said.
He was first brought to Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center about 2:30 p.m. Friday after he fell from the hood of a 1994 Chevrolet Beretta driven by Candace Cupples, 16, in the high school parking lot, the Washington State Patrol said.
A nursing supervisor at the Yakima hospital said he suffered "significant injuries," but wouldn't elaborate.
No citation has been issued, but the incident is under investigation, the state patrol said.
