SOCCER: Naches Valley High School Rangers soccer, in conjunction with Scuola Calcio, will be offering a hands-on coaches clinic in Naches over Presidents Day weekend, Feb. 13-17. Italian coach Bruno Redolfi will be there to work with the coaches and athletes. The course is designed to help coaches of all levels, with the program providing everything from basic to complex training sessions, covering technical, tactical, physical and more development methodologies. Cost is $100 ($120 day of) which includes all copies of coaching materials and a T-shirt. You can pay $20 per day if you cannont attend the full five-day session.

* Yakima Youth Soccer's spring registration has started, with special registration nights Jan. 27 and 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Big 5 Sports both nights. Contact Sally at 452-1392 for more information.
* USSF will have referee clinics on Friday, Feb. 20 from 6 to 10 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., all at Wide Hollow School Library. Contact Ron Sabari, 952-0150, for more information.
