Norman E. Aberle
Norman E. Aberle, 81, of Selah died Sunday at Good Samaritan Health Care Center.
Mr. Aberle was born in Chelsea, Mo. He worked in the Physical Plant Department at University of Washington as a carpenter for 24 years. He then drove a school bus for the Monroe and Selah school districts.
Survivors include his wife, Esther; two sons, Larry Aberle and Tim Aberle; a daughter, Leah Vergosen; two brothers, Lloyd Aberle of Deer Park, Wash., and Duane Aberle of Yelm, Wash.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel. A graveside service will be at noon Saturday in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monroe, Wash.
Frank Allen Bayne
Frank Allen Bayne, 66, of Yakima died Friday at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center.
Mr. Bayne was born in Yakima and served in the Navy. He was employed as a finance manager in the auto sales industry.
Survivors include a daughter, Marci Woods of Longmont, Colo.; two brothers, Francis Jennings Jr., of Everett, Wash., and Kenneth Jennings of Pasco; a sister, Barbara Gaberdine of Seattle; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A private family service will be held.
Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory in Yakima is in charge of arrangements.
Howard Wesley Rex
Howard Wesley Rex, 83, of Selah died Thursday in Yakima.
Mr. Rex was born in Staten Island, N.Y., and had lived for a time in California, Idaho, Arizona and New Mexico. He worked at various jobs before becoming a minister. He then became very involved in prison ministries.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Rex of Selah and Ronald Rex of Tacoma; three daughters, Suzan Catron and Sharon Harrelston of Selah, and Sally Rinas of Tacoma; 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Keith and Keith Funeral Home.
Clifford W. Tucker
Clifford W. Tucker, 50, of Moxee died Saturday.
Mr. Tucker was born in Yakima and grew up and was educated in Sunnyside. He worked for several years as a quality control inspector at Hanford and as a truck driver for 19 years with Cliff's Septic Service.
Survivors include three daughters, Quiana Tucker of Olympia, and Quitina Tucker and Quyncie Tucker of Yakima; his parents, Kenneth and Carol Tucker of Outlook; three sisters, Joann Smith of Sunnyside, Rena Guy of Outlook and Tammy Walkenhauer of Yakima; and an adopted sister, Deb Ward.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside.
Sandra Glaspell
Sandra Glaspell, 66, of Prosser died Sunday.
Mrs. Glaspell was born in Olympia and her family moved to Prosser in 1949.
Survivors include her husband, Walter; three daughters, Leslie Glaspell, Lisa Glaspell and Kellee Hart; a sister, Anita Webb; and two granddaughters.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home in Grandview. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Grandview Cemetery.
Deanna Lynn Young
Deanna Lynn Young, 44, of Kennewick, formerly of Yakima, died Friday.
Mrs. Young was born in Long Beach, Calif., and moved with her family to Washington in 1978.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce Young of Kennewick; a son, Joshua Griffith of Bellingham, Wash.; a sister, Melissa Blackledge of Selah; and a brother, Kevin Short of Anza, Calif.
A memorial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kennewick.
Mueller Funeral Home of Kennewick is in charge of arrangements.
