TOPPENISH -- A spaghetti feed fund-raiser Friday at Toppenish Middle School aims to raise money for a parent-teacher organization and for Christmas gifts for a local youth center.
The event is being organized by the Toppenish Safe Haven, an after-school center that offers youth activities, tutoring and a computer lab.
A silent auction, a martial arts demonstration and music will also be on hand at the 5 p.m. dinner at the middle school at 104 Goldendale Ave. Tickets for the event cost $3.50 a person or $14 for a family.
Proceeds will go toward Christmas presents for Safe Haven kids and to the parent-teacher organization at Kirkwood Elementary School.
