SELAH -- The Selah School District is hoping to stuff a bus with canned food for Selah's food bank this holiday season.
A lighted bus will be on display four times in December at various Selah locations. People are encouraged to donate nonperishable food items. Candy canes and bus safety materials will be distributed to kids at the events.
The donation schedule:
* Saturday, 6 p.m., Selah Civic Center, 216 S. First St.
* Dec. 11, 7 p.m., Selah Intermediate School band concert, 1401 W. Fremont Ave.
* Dec. 16, 6 p.m., John Campbell Elementary School winter concert, 408 N. First St.
* Dec. 17, 6 p.m., John Campbell Elementary School winter concert.
