James Allen Crabtree
James Allen Crabtree, 81, of Yakima died Tuesday at Good Samaritan Health Care in Yakima.
He was born in Seattle.
He served in the Coast Guard during World War II.
He worked as a painter for several local firms and later served as a business agent for the painters union.He also worked as a maintenance supervisor for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation at Grand Coulee Dam.
Survivors include three daughters, Susan Giles of Yakima, Donna Wilson of Yakima and Robin Lovell of Ellensburg; two sisters, Ruth Crabtree of Medford, Ore., and Becky Loomis of Maple Valley, Wash.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel in Yakima. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with committal services at West Hills Memorial Park west of Yakima.
Keith and Keith Funeral Home of Yakima is handling arrangements.
Fortino B. "Nato" Escobar
Fortino B. "Nato" Escobar, 79, of Yakima died Thursday at Parkside Care Center in Union Gap.
He was born in Ballinger, Texas.
Survivors include 13 children, a sister, 39 grandchildren, 89 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors in Yakima. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Yakima. Burial will follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
Donald James Wall
Donald James Wall, 72, of Yakima died Wednesday at home.
He was born in Toronto, Canada.
He was a police officer in Covina and Sausalito, Calif., before joining Greyhound Bus Lines, for which he worked in Petaluma, Calif., Yakima and Edmonds, Wash. He also worked for various trucking firms in Yakima before becoming a driver for Yakima Transit.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; two daughters, Catherine Matson and Victoria Gore; a son, Scott Wall; a sister, Marilyn Seeberg; a brother, Eric Wall; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Summitview Baptist Church/The Cross Church in Yakima.

Joe Russell Brewer
Joe Russell Brewer, 92, of Yakima died Thursday at Willow Springs Care in Yakima.
He was born in Camden, Tenn. He moved to Yakima in the 1970s.
He worked in a California shipyard building patrol torpedo boats during World War II.
He was a car salesman in Kansas, California and Yakima, where he worked for Wikstrom Cadillac and Bob Lynch GMC/Honda. After retiring, he worked part time in property management.
Survivors include a son, Gayle Brewer of Yakima; two daughters, Beverly Hammett and Teresa Sjule, both of Yakima; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel.
