Edwin Schlenker
Edwin Schlenker, 89, of Yakima died Saturday at his home.
He was born in Fredonia, N.D. He was a farmer in North Dakota and moved to Yakima when he was 47. He worked for Chinook Mobile Lodge, Ranch Rite and retired from Snokist.
Survivors include his wife, Viola Schlenker of Yakima; one son, Don Schlenker of Yakima; two daughters, Diane Shaeffer of Redmond, Wash., and Eileen Schlenker of Yakima; one brother, Harold Schlenker of Ashley, N.D.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church. Private interment will be at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
Letha Schryvers
Letha Schryvers, 88, of Lacey, Wash., died Sunday in Lacey.
She was born in Kabo, Mont. She moved with her family to Grandview to farm when she was 15. She and her husband also farmed on Wasson Road and lived there until 2007, when she moved to Lacey.
Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn French of Hillsboro, Ore., and Darleen O'Donnell of Olympia; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside.

Mary Ann Hirschfeld
Mary Ann Hirschfeld, 81, of Yakima died Saturday.
She was born in St. Helens, Ore. Survivors include her husband, Richard Hirschfeld of Yakima; two daughters, Christine Fowler of San Diego and Karen Stanley of Ben Lomond, Calif.; one son, Robert Hulter of Felton, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Service times are pending.

Mary Monroe Davis
Mary Monroe Davis, 94, of Yakima died Monday at her home.
She was born in Wenatchee. She and her husband moved to the Thorp area, where they raised cattle on their Hidden Valley Ranch. She moved to Yakima in 1977.
Survivors include one daughter, Joan Moore of Selah; one son, Geoffrey Davis of Camano Island, Wash.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors. Burial will be at Tacoma Cemetery in Tacoma.
Cecil Graham
Cecil Graham, 75, of Yakima died at home.
He was born in Fostoria, Kan. He travel with Ken Gaub Ministries for several years as the organist for Eternity Express. He later worked as a metro bus driver.
Survivors include his wife, Alzada Graham of Yakima; two sisters, Maxine Maltbie of Selah and Vera Watkins of Clackamas, Ore.; one brother, Gary Graham of Ellensburg; two stepsons, Dan Jackson of Redmond, Wash., and David Jackson of Yakima; and 11 grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the Yakima Chapel of Valley Hills Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
Terra Lyn Brinton (Green)
Terra Lyn Brinton (Green), 55, of Grandview died Saturday.
She lived in the Sunnyside and Grandview areas for most of her life. She helped her mother run the family's grocery store in Sunnyside from 1973 until the business was sold in 2006.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; one daughter, Alayna; one sister, Jan of Grandview; one stepbrother, Cary Kresse of Outlook; her mother, Mary; and her grandmother, Alta Bodily of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Viewing and visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
Paul Wallace
Paul Wallace, 75, of Yakima died Saturday at Heritage Grove.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio. He lived in Yakima for 16 years. He was a self-employed painting contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Wallace of Yakima; four sons, Paul Wallace and Herb Wallace, both of Yakima, Terry Wallace of South Dakota and Gary Wallace of Everett, Wash.; two daughters, Connie McDowell of Moxee and Paula Fitz of Yakima; one brother, Don Wallace of Marblemount, Wash.; one sister, Salley Richardson of California; 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The memorial service is at 4 p.m. today at the Yakima Eagles.

William Lester Kramer
William Lester Kramer, 86, of Grandview died Saturday in Sunnyside.
He was born in Hendersonville, S.C. He was educated in North Carolina and Redwood City, Calif. He worked his way through Utah State College in the building and maintenance department. He later worked as for the national forests in California, Oregon and Montana and also was a farm laborer for Ralph Adams.
Survivors include two nieces, Lani Lawrence of Washington, Utah, and Cheri Wilson of Chandler, Ariz.
Viewing will be Monday from 9 a.m. until the funeral at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sunnyside. Burial will be at the Grandview Cemetery.

Jeffrey J. Gamache
Jeffrey J. Gamache, 94, of Yakima died Saturday at his home.
He was born in Moxee. He was a lifelong resident of the Yakima Valley. He began hop farming in 1919. He was one of the founders of the Administrative Committee of the Federal Hop Marketing Order, served on the Washington State Hop Commission from 1966 to 1972 and was on the Hop Growers of America Committee for many years.
Survivors include 18 children, Shirley St. Mary, Sylvia Brule, Cherie Hanses, Larry Gamache, Beverly Regimbal, Beatrice Plath, Denise LaBissoniere and Debbie Holbrook, all of Yakima, Elaine Keller of Seattle, Doreen Heffron of Mill Creek, Wash., Marilyn Hanses of Pasco, Lee Gamache, Dale Gamache and Gene Gamache, all of Moxee, Paulette Edison of Little Rock, Ark., Bernadine Reichlin of Leavenworth, Wash., Diane Gamache of Redmond, Wash., and Theresa Simpson of Fayetteville, Ga.; three sisters, Rose Albright, Isabelle Patnode and Darlene Benoit; 65 grandchildren, 108 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home and prior to the recitation of the rosary at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. Committal services and burial will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Moxee.
Carol Jean Garrison
Carol Jean Garrison, 71, of Union Gap died Saturday.
She was born in Toppenish.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry E. Garrison of Union Gap; one son, Michael Kelley of Beaverton, Ore.; one daughter, Sandra Hull of Yakima; one stepdaughter, Gari Lynn Currier of Stockton, Md.; two brothers, Dale Hadley of Albany, Ore., and Harold Hadley of Vancouver, Wash.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at West Hills Memorial Park.
Dorothy B. Davis
Dorothy B. Davis, 82, of Sunnyside died Sunday.
She was born in Beverly Hills, Calif. She lived in the Lower Yakima Valley, the last five at Sun Terrace in Sunnyside. She worked as a bookkeeper and homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Robert C. Davis of Sunnyside; two sons, Ken Fein of Granger and Mike Fein of Eagle, Idaho; one daughter, Lynn Davis of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Family services will be held at a later date.

Christopher Lucier
Christopher Lucier, 49, of Longview, Wash., died Friday.
He was born in Othello, Wash. He moved to Selah with his family in 1971. He was a department manager at Fred Meyer in Longview.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Lucier of Longview; two daughters, Jennifer Covolo and Jaime Lucier, both of Sheridan, Wyo.; mother, Patricia Lucier of Yakima; father, Ernest Lucier of Yakima; one sister, Pamela Lucier of Norfolk, Conn.; one brother, Kevin Lucier of Yakima; five grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. today with a vigil service at 5:15 p.m. today at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Yakima. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
Manuela Lopez
Manuela Lopez, 80, of Wapato died Saturday in Yakima.
She was born in Mercedes, Texas. She moved to the Yakima Valley in 1957. She worked as a farm laborer, was a home care provider and worked in nursing homes, and she owned rental properties in Wapato.
Survivors include three daughters, Petra Lopez of Seattle, San Juanita Barragan of Wapato and Sylvia Lopez of Yakima; one son, Martin Lopez of Yakima; two brothers, Jose Gonzalez and Lalo Gonzalez, both of Texas; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the rosary will be at 6 p.m. today at Colonial Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Toppenish.

Lorena A. Bobb
Lorena A. Bobb, 68, of White Swan died Saturday in Toppenish.
She was born in Colome, S.D. She was a homemaker and foster parent with her husband for 15 years.
Survivors include her husband, Isaac Bobb Sr.; four daughters, Denise Bobb, Susanna Lumley and Evelena Bobb, all of White Swan, and Cindy Bobb of Yakima; four sons, Ronald Bobb, Isaac Bobb Jr. and Robert Bobb, all of White Swan, and James Bobb of Yakima; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Harrah Elementary School.

Karen Barbara Homer
Karen Barbara Homer, 70, of Grandview died Friday.
She was born in Wall, Texas. She moved to Grandview in 1981 with her husband and opened Karen's Fabric and Flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Kenith Homer; one daughter, Kara Tucker of Grandview; one son, Kurtis Homer of Eldorado, Texas; one brother, Wayne Mikeska of Eldorado; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
A memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview. A memorial service will be at a later date at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado.

Guadalupe 'Lupe' Fernandez
Guadalupe "Lupe" Fernandez, 78, of Wapato died Friday.
He was born in Garden City, Kan. He lived most of his life in Wapato.
Survivors include his friend, Mary Flores.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Reservation Community Memorial Park.

Claudia Malson
Claudia Malson, 102, of Yakima died Monday.
She was born in Onaka, S.D. She moved to the Yakima area in 1935 and worked as a floor supervisor for Del Monte Cannery until her retirement in the early 1970s.
Survivors include one daughter, Eleanor Stipp of Toledo, Wash.; one sister, Theresa DeLaney of Union Gap; and four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
