ELLENSBURG -- CNN’s "Anderson Cooper 360" plans to run a report tonight about the investigation into the 2004 Kittitas County arson case and the arrest of Wade Kirkwood, according to a news release from Kittitas County Sheriff Gene Dana.
The show will be telecast from 7 to 9 p.m.
There will also be an extended version of Kirkwood's interview on CNN.com at some point tonight or Wednesday.
The Kittitas County Arson Task Force has been used as a model across the U.S. for the investigation of arson-caused wildland fires, Dana said.
Kirkwood is in prison for causing 11 wildfires in 2004. CNN news crews spent several days in Kittitas County interviewing lead detectives.
