EPHRATA -- Justin Windsor overcame extremely wet conditions to throw for 175 yards and two touchdowns, and Selah's defense came up big again as the Vikings held on.

Selah held Ephrata on a fourth-and-2 from the Viking 35 with less than a minute to play to seal the victory. Ephrata was trying to get into range for Eric Hensley, who had already kicked a pair of 35-yard field goals.

Windsor, who was 14-for-29 with no interceptions, threw a 28-yard TD pass to Quincy Davis in the first quarter, and a 35-yarder to Tyler Porter in the second quarter.

PROSSER -- Jordan Durbin threw only 14 passes, but six of them went for touchdowns in the No. 1 Mustangs' win.

Four of Durbin's scoring strikes went to Kirby Moore, who totaled seven catches for 108 yards. His TD catches, the first of which came after Anthony Flores returned the opening kickoff 79 yards for a touchdown, covered 25, 32, 6 and 18 yards.

Dylan Bolt rushed for
156 yards and had a 60-yard TD for Prosser.

Oscar Ramirez got the Wildcats' first score on an 82-yard, second-quarter run and Carlos Ramirez capped the scoring with a 55-yard tally in the fourth.

It was the third game this season in which Prosser did not attempt a pass during the second half.

NACHES -- Not even heavy rain or a couple of power outages could slow down Brandon Gillespie and the Naches Valley offense.

Gillespie threw for
238 yards and three touchdowns on just seven completions to lead the Rangers in a game that was called midway through the fourth quarter after the second of two power outages.

The lights went out once in the first half, and again in the fourth, at which point both teams decided to call the game.

Despite the rainy conditions, six of Gillespie's completions went for at least 23 yards, including scoring passes of 45 and 71 yards to Ethan Flory. He also threw a 10-yard scoring pass to Dylan Swain.

Gillespie also ran for a score, and Flory returned an interception 50 yards for a score.
