New skatepark opens in Selah

Selah's new skatepark opened Sunday with a kick-off celebration that included a skateboarding competition, free food, and a raffle. The park, near the tennis courts on South Wenas Road and Wood Field baseball park, was built by the Selah Skate Park Association and the city of Selah. For more information, call the Selah parks and Recreation Department at 698-7300.
