YAKIMA -- DeSales is on top again.
After a one-year absence, the state state championship is back with the Irish for the 15th time in 17 seasons and 16th overall.
DeSales (22-4) drubbed Adna 29-7 in the Class 2B championship game Saturday night at Parker Field, jumping on the Pirates for 13 first-inning runs and cruising from there.
Adna (21-4), which finished third in last year's state championship, was seeking its first state baseball championship.
No other details were available at press time.
