Education
Perry Technical Institute has hired Jason Lidke to teach its Electrical Technology Program. Lidke previously worked as maintenance manager at the Yakima plant of JELD-WEN Windows and Doors. He is a 2005 graduate of Perry Technical Institute.
The University of Phoenix online campus awarded Carole Violette a bachelor's degree in business accounting. Violette is employed as clinic manager for Valley Dermatology Associates.
Medical
The office of Dr. Kevin M. Harrington has added his daughter, Seana M. Moore, as a women's health nurse practitioner. Moore, who grew up in Yakima, previously worked as a nurse practitioner for a gynecologist in Federal Way and as a registered nurse at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. She earned both her master's and bachelor's degrees in nursing from the University of Washington.

The Dispute Resolution Center of Yakima and Kittitas Counties has elected new officers and board members for 2008. The officers are: Carolyn Thurston, Central Washington University Wildcat Transitions Program, president; Ron Hicks, Riverside Consulting Inc., treasurer; Jolene Seda, Medical Associates of Yakima, secretary; Terry B. Hall, Wesley United Methodist Church, at-large executive committee member.
The new members are: Edward Esparza, Central Washington University academic adviser; Angie Girard, Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences; Terry B. Hall, Wesley United Methodist Church; Jim Kramper, Coldwell Banker Associated Realtors; Jim Roberts, Central Washington University Law & Justice Department; Robert Silligman; retired; Angela Smith, Future Link Communications.
Telecommunications
U.S. Cellular has promoted Erryn Andersen to area sales manager for Washington and Eastern Oregon. Andersen will oversee 11 retail locations throughout the region. Andersen has worked for U.S. Cellular since 2005, most recently as its field marketing manager for the Southern Oregon and California markets. She has a bachelor's degree in political science from San Diego State University.
