* Stories published Sept. 24 and Oct. 6 on Page 1A and the Home Front section, respectively, incorrectly spelled David Gotzh's last name. Gotzh was the driver who struck a 10-year-old Yakima girl in a Washington Avenue crosswalk.

* A Page 1A story Wednesday about a town-hall meeting on gangs mistated how many 15th District lawmakers attended. Only Rep. Bruce Chandler, R-Granger, and Sen. Jim Honeyford, R-Sunnyside, were there. A third, Rep. David Taylor, did not attend.

* A story on Page 3A of Wednesday's paper contained a headline error about the Supreme Court agreeing to hear a case about Guantanamo Bay detainees. The headline should have read "Gitmo detainees case reaches Supreme Court."
