Nicholas James Cervera of Zillah, WA passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010. He was born July 25, 1979 to Michael and Marilyn (Sawzak) Cervera in Haines, Alaska. Nick spent his childhood years in the Pacific Northwest and the South Pacific. He graduated from Auburn Adventist Academy in 1998, during this time he met his future wife, Rachel Waymire. They were married on November 7, 1999 and settled in Auburn, Washington where their first child was born. In 2001 Nicholas and Rachel relocated to Zillah, WA. As their family continued to grow, Nick helped to build them a new home. He was employed by Current Concepts of Moxee, WA continuing to pursue his career to become a Journeyman Electrician. In 2005 Nick began employment at Waymire Electric where he became a partner in the business and worked until the time of his death. Nicholas attended the Granger Seventh Day Adventist Church where he was an active member and served as a deacon. Some of Nicholas favorite activities included teaching his children to swim, riding dirt bikes and enjoying RC cars. Nick was a caring father, loving husband, and wonderful provider for his family. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, Rachel Cervera, two daughters, Allyson and Riliegh and one son, Johnny Cervera all of Zillah, WA. He is also survived by his parents, Kermit and Marilyn Browning of Hobart, WA, his identical twin brother, Matthew Cervera and wife, Kimi and children, Brayden and Ashlyn and brother, Silas Browning, his grandmother, Edna Cervera of Portland, OR and his father and mother-in-law, John and Colleen Waymire of Zillah, WA. He is preceded in death by his father Michael Cervera and brother, Beau Browning. Viewing and visitation will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA with burial to follow at the Zillah, Cemetery.
