DENVER, CO - CONRAD, Catherine E., 86, born 8/22/21 in N. Hollywood, CA, deceased 8/10/08 in Denver, CO. She attended UCLA, and finished a degree in Accounting. She married Capt. Stanley D. Conrad on his return from WWII in Oct. 1945, and remained happily married for 61 adventurous years until Stan's passing in 2006. She and her family moved nearly 20 times in 30 years with Stan's geology work. They settled in Arvada, CO in the 1970s. Cathy is survived by 4 children; Kaye (Mike) Johanson; Bart (Martha) Conrad; Allen (Barbara) Conrad; and Marlene Conrad Littel, 13 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Sat. July 18th, 2009 at 1:00p at Holland Cemetery, Mieras Road, Yakima, WA. Contributions may be made to the Glory of God Lutheran Church, 12200 W. 38th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, or to the charity of your choice in her memory. There will be a gathering and lunch following the cemetery service at East Valley Reformed Church Fellowship Hall, 7203 Mieras Rd, Yakima, WA 98901.
