Alejandra Paniagua, 8, is admonished by her father José Paniagua to hold still as she's examined by Dr. Ian Glass at Children's Village in Yakima on April 16, 2009. Children's Village, which serves children with special needs, is breaking ground today on an expansion which will include more room for the medical and dental areas. Dr. Glass is a medical geneticist from the University of Washington School of Medicine and Seattle Children's Hospital who was conducting an outreach genetics clinic at Children's Village. Alejandra, who suffers from a genetic imbalance, is held by her mother Maria.
