The clubhouse of the River Ridge Golf Course was surrounded by water and the golf course submerged by the flooding Yakima River on Jan. 8, 2009. The main floor of the clubhouse was undamaged but the basement area was completely underwater, said course owner Dean Laurvick, right. As a precaution the power to the clubhouse was cut off. With no power, Laurvick quipped "I'll have to find somewhere else to eat lunch."
