Girl may not have been hit by car after all
Yakima Herald-Republic
What if she just happened to trip in front of the car. I have witnessed how some of the kids cross the streets in the mornings, they run, push, and bump into each other. they even shove each other off the sidewalks, into traffic along Tieton Drive. Did she actually say the car hit her? Leave this to the authorities to figure out. I'm sure they will sort it all out. Just another speculation for ThinkAboutIt to think about!

What evidence is an 11-yr old girl going to leave on a car that knocks her over? Obviously, it didn't completely crush her, so it's not like there would be a dent or tissue in the bumper. If the driver got close enough to knock her down - either by contact or by fright - then s/he was driving recklessly and endangering a pedestrian. Didn't the little girl say she was hit? Oh, but the driver 'seemed like a responsible driver...'
Report ViolationInterpretation: little girl was Hispanic, driver was White.
