I see a lot of employees standing outside businesses to have a smoke. It seems to me that if a private club wants to allow smoking, that any prospective employee can consider this as a condition of employment, just like some jobs that have other unpleasant aspects. You can't tell me that second-hand smoke in a club room is any more dangerous than applying many sprays and chemicals in out orchards by farm workers. Perhaps we should ban farm chemicals as well? Or how about Bovine gas, the largest source of pollutants on this earth, bar none. Ban cows, or put mufflers on their behinds at least.
