Antojitos Mexican Restaurant is moving in the next few months. Co-owner Jaime Rincon said he and his wife have purchased the former Dairy Queen building at 3512 Summitview Ave. in Yakima.
The building was purchased earlier this month for $230,000, according to information from the Yakima County Assessor’s Web site.
Rincon said he could not renew the lease at the restaurant’s current location at 2201 W. Lincoln Ave., which made it necessary to find a new spot.
But Rincon believes the new location will be good for the nearly four-year-old business. The new location has more space, which will allow the restaurant to accomodate more customers.
It will take a few months to make the move as the restaurant does a remodel at the new location, Rincon said.
“I need to change so many things inside,” he said.
Guess the restaurant won’t be offering any Blizzards.
