YAKIMA, Wash. -- Not sure what it takes to transfer to a four-year university?
Students can get information about various universities at the Washington Council’s Fall Transfer Fair on Monday. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Hopf Union Building at Yakima Valley Community College. YVCC and the Washington Council for High School-College Relations are sponsoring the fair.
Numerous university representatives will be available to answer questions and talk to students about their transfer needs. Students can also talk with representatives about the universities’ upcoming application deadlines and scholarships.
The colleges expected to attend this fall fair are Art Institute of Seattle, Central Washington University, Eastern Washington University, Gonzaga University, Northwest College, Pacific Lutheran University, University of Washington Seattle, Bothell, and Tacoma, Washington State University Pullman & Tri Cities, Whitworth University and Western Washington University.
