Obama dinner features Yakima Valley wine

YAKIMA, Wash. -- The Yakima Valley wine industry in general got some major props in The Hill, a D.C. blog that’s popular with political types.

Just ignore the post about Sen. McCaskill’s adventures in spelling and go straight to the item “Obama serves G-20 leaders one of the world’s top wines.”

I'm not sure I'd want my product associated with such a lousy, one term president.

Fine wine for a great President! In your case, sjuan, SOUR GRAPES! Cheer up, though, only seven more years to go...

Agreed! Fine wine for a fine President. Nothing but the best! Great taste by the way, Delille Cellars Syrah “Yakima Valley Doyenne” 2005.

So we have the most powerful person in the free world promoting our local wines and sjuan is complaining? I'm sure the wine makers aren't.

lol, mickey...he is not the issue. The issue is a bigwig promoting Yakima wine. Win, win for the valley-we could use the $$$. Would any businesses take patrons ONLY from their political party?-not gonna happen. Thanks for the political post YHR.
